I'm looking for a 15/16" brake master cylinder from a 79 280ZX for the "R".
I've already got a 7/8" from a Z, but feel the larger diameter will work
better with the Volvo fronts and Mustang rears. Really only need a
rebuildable casting - clean, smooth bore with no corrosion. Anyone have one
squirreled away that they'd be willing to part with? Please contact me
off-list.
Roadster content - R is coming along, body's on the rotiss and coming along
rapidly. Had a grinder and brush party Friday night to clean up welds on
floor and strip engine compartment - sounded like a swarm of VERY angry
bees....
Disassembled the windshield frame this evening. Broke off at least four screw
heads, but after it was apart I applied the 'ole flame wrench to the stubs,
heating them up cherry red and letting em cool. Stubs then unscrewed without
incident using visegrips. Windshield is is very decent shape for its age -
will be keeping the 1972 CA inspection sticker.....
