This is not as grand as the email subject suggests - but it made me smile.
When I was asked if I would lend one of my cars for a short film, I thought
they meant the GT40 - but no, it was the Datsun 2000, which the local
film-makers decided was the ideal gangster's car ... not so sure myself.
They had the car all last weekend to shoot the final scenes and the film is
in the can. I've yet to see it but it will get its first showing at a film
festival in Nottingham soon. I'm told that there are some nice pan shots
across
the Fairlady badge, grille etc. The final edit will all be in black & white
or sepia. To keep it in the family, my 17 year old son was was roped in to
play a vicar! Should be interesting ...
