i think mike, that you have it wrong. andrew said the old guy in the
mercedes was making a left to put him going in the same direction as andrew.
that
would mean the old guy in the mercedes was on the left, not the right as you
surmise. were he on the right, making a left, then he would be going in the
opposite direction as andrew.
