Tire Size's

Age old question but just now buying tires after having parked it 28 years
ago.

The same tires are still on the car, I think I should put some new ones on.

What size for a good fit & good traction, on a 66' 1600 , planning on using
the stock wheels.

The ones on there now are  165-14's.

Can we go to 185's, 195's?

50 series??????
