Anyone want to vouch for Mr. Sandhoff? Roadster Fanatic? Roadster
Evangelist? Both? <g>
Can someone provide more info on the "caravan from the North" whilst I
reevaluate my calendar and other commitments, and check my piggybank?
Do people bring cars for sale?
Thanks.

Concerning Shasta, you wrote:

This is the 20th annual get-together, should be a good one. Great
opportunity to see if the 'flame' still burns for one of these cars, and
it's a great chance to meet the fanatics, err I mean people behind the cars.
Unless your plans are chiseled in very solid stone, you should reconsider
:-)
Note that 60-80 cars show up. Note that members of the Japanese SR/SL club
show up. Note that Phill Brook shows up. This is an event that you'll enjoy.
There's a caravan from the North, hook up with 'em in whatever you're
driving and come on down!
See what Sean's done with Nasty 2000 (was a NOS-enhanced 2L; I think this
year it will be KA24 powered). In the past Craig brought his supercharged
dry-sump beast. Check out the VG30 (v-6) powered rides. And dozens of
pristine show-quality models to admire as well. Plus a few beaters (like
mine!) to provide appropriate counterpoint :-)
Note: Thee are two separate meets. They usually coincide but this year
unfortunately they don't. The following weekend will be the all-Datsun meet,
mainly 510 crowd, a fair number of Z's and a sprinkling of other models.
They run auto-x at the Ski Lodge and it is an absolute blast to witness.
