Point taken, but the trim is secured mechanically by the pinchweld
moulding,windscreen seal and top latches as well. So far, a year and a half
later
(yesterday was 111F and 3% humidity BTW) it's holding up quite well.
For a larger panel I agree with you on the 3M 80. For this, 77 is plenty
good enough and much easier to come by.
