I used a heat gun and a putty knife to lift up the asphalt based sound deadner applied by the factory. Not hard to do and it went quickly. BTW, I used POR15 on my house's front door hinges and they never changed color after being exposed to sunlight for years. Wrinkle paint needs heat to wrinkle correctly. Mike |
