Two Roadsters for sale "a long time ago" that I didn't buy.... where are
they now?

1969 Datsun 2000 located near Sturgis, Michigan
White, black stripes over fenders meeting at a point in the center of
the hood
Nice black interior, crack-free dash
Autocross history, proud owner with plenty of pictures
U-20 motor partially disassembled in a box, not drivable
Really solid body
Yellow NO 55 MPH sticker on the rear panel
Chrome luggage rack
Extra crack-free dash
Wheels were painted black with no hubcaps

1968 Datsun 1600 located in Portland, Indiana at a used car dealer off
HWY 26/67
Yellow and very stock
Black interior
Restored by prior owner (a doctor), extremely nice condition
Sales price was around ~$3500
The 1969 2000 was the first Datsun Roadster I saw in person (great
memories). I test drove the 1968 1600, which is the only 1600 I've
driven to date (I was ready to sell my 1978 280Z to buy this car).
These cars provided the motivation to buy and restore a 1968 1600 (665
yellow) that I have yet to drive...
If anyone on the list owns (or knows of) either of these cars, please
give me an update!
