Motor-tranny weights

I just weighed my U20 motor and tranny.  The motor and 4 speed together weigh
431 pounds.  The four speed weighs 66 pounds and the five speed weighs 86
pounds.

The motor has a 10 pound aluminum flywheel, no fuel pump, solex carbs, stock
exhaust manifold, short starter, chevy alternator, and aluminum oil pan.  Both
the four speed and five speed are dry but the motor has 7 quarts of oil.  That
would make the motor by itself around 365 pounds wet.
