I couldn't agree with Dan more!   It's not a very practical daily driver if
you are seeking reliable transport...  things can and do go wrong!   I
rarely trust that PO who says the car is "perfect".  Hell, even cars that
just come out of complete restorations have had some issues with starters
and heaters!     I'd say if your sister has a mild crazy side, not afraid to
take chances and can work on her own car, then driving a roadster as a daily
driver is for her!

I drive a '70 2000 as my daily driver... all year round.   Normal
maintenance schedule and replacing parts as time/money/need dictate.   I
have my wifes '67 1600 on backup duty and working on bringing up a '68 1600
as another backup.   Yeah, roadsters are in my blood!!
