I tried to measure the head thickness. I thought it was a little awkward with the head on the block. I am not that smooth w/ a micrometer either. As best I could tell the average of several thicknesses worked out to be about 4.480 inches. The number 4.528 is the one that I have seen most for a stock head. This is a difference of 0.048 inches. Did I get a good measurement and if yes, then is my number very far off stock? Larry. |
