Thank you for all of your responses to my problem. As someone said and whose
advice I will follow, I will just ignore them and I used a different setting
so I'm not informed when they come in.

BTW, if you try to defrag your harddrive use a 'safe-mode' start up when
attempting to do this lengthy precedure. Press F5 when Windows is booting.
Those damn pings cause the defrag program to start over and over and over.
