Hood

Generally 69 and 70 hoods have a different hood latch than a '68. There is a
safety hook as well on the '69/70s like most modern cars have. If using a late
hood on a 68 you either change the latch part on the firewall to 69/70 or
change the spot welded interior molding on the 69 hood so you can attach the
'68 latch at the right angle.  I know because I have a new 68 hood on a 69
car.
