I would get an estimate for sure. Should include bearings and seals for starters. Any other parts you can get from the vendors or nissan. Most shops who do manual tranny work as a specialty can do a decent job on the datsun trannys. WE have one in the Springs, and the mechanic recognized the tranny as an older nissan model when I took it out of the truck. Good luck.
