I had an aluminum head reworked a while back-new
valves, guides seals, springs, and both critical faces
milled. The next step is trying to match the
combustion chamber volumes. It is being measured by
using a plexiglass cover to seal the head and filling
the chamber with alcohol. As of now, it ranges from
#4 cylinder at 49.6 cc to #3 at 52.0 cc. Does anyone
know what the original volume was?
Also, this is a smog head, so MacGuyver (AKA Keith
Williams) and I will need to block off the ports. I
know there was some message traffic on this earlier,
but my email account had a problem for a while with
trying to block the list as spam and I missed a lot of
stuff. What is the best way to block these ports?
Again, thanks for all the help.
