If you can't buy new plugs I'd leave everything as it is. You could open a
new can of worms if you know what I mean. But if you must tinker try using
some epoxy to seal the leaks and maybe some teflon tape on the threads. I
had a chirping using old plugs before I got Tom Walters' plugs.
If you have problems removing the plugs with a cold engine try running it up
to temp and then try to remove them.
I, like you, am waiting for the 'invigorated' economy to create some jobs
BUT I wouldn't count on the economy to continue to prosper as well in the
future as it did in the last quarter. That was a blip due to the tax
refunds.
And don't believe the unemployment #s. Many, many people ran out of
unemployment insurance and simply gave up on looking for jobs. Those #s also
don't account for all the unemployed college graduates. It also doesn't
account for 'under-employment'
In the future the Bush 'tax incentives' will show their teeth when the
government starts to compete with the private sector for money to bail out
our deficits. It will become more expensive for businesses to borrow $$$$.
I'm not an economist, I'm just a simple guy who uses logic and reads. With
all their formulas, graphs, charts and computer simulations the big shots
still know squat, just like the lemmings and 'snake oil' sellers on Wall
Street.
Numbers don't lie, people do.
Mike
PS - I just had to get that off my mind.
