I thought I was the only one with weird 2L carb problems! I figured it was
just worn throttle shafts, because it would stick at about 1500 - 3000 rpm
and I have the exact same issue with my throttle. Everything is greased up
and silky smooth operation, no sticking at all with engine off and cool.
Start the car and warm it to operating temperatures and we get the sticking
again along with the throttle that just suddenly opens after overcoming that
"force" that Mike mentioned... that's great if you *want* to race, but
kinda sucks when you are just taking off the line after a normal stop..
