Perry:
With a similar experience with a '68 1600, I ended up trimming just a little
(superfluous) metal from the bracket. Don't know why that was necessary, that
last time I did it because I had reinstalled the engine before without having
to do that. I did have a new exhaust manifold the last time, however.
