If you put on tires with a larger circumfrence, the speedo will be off by a percent. Measure both and divide the new one by the old one (new/old=ratio). For example, 42"/40"=1.05. If you read 100mph on your speedo after that, it is really 105. At 50, it is really 52.5 mph. JimG |
