I've got twin SU carbs on a 1970-1600. Neither Clymer, Chilton, or Rising Sun Racing's Manual tells me what the function of the device is which is located midway between the carbs on the intake manifold. It has two wires coming from it so I assume it is a sensor or solenoid for emission control.
