Leigh as you only have bolts on one end you have a 1600 drive shaft and
trany. remove rear bolts, and slide driveshaft off front slpines. if car
is on an incline or just the front jacked up , when you pull
d/s the gear lube should leak from thje rear of the trany. some people
have used a airesol paint can cap to plug the rear of the transmission.
the pics are 1. 1600 d/s has bolts on rear, splines on front just slides
out of the rear of the trans.
2. 2000 d/s bolt flanges on both ends. but can be removed from the rear
since the front part splines
together with the rear. when you pull the trans save the trans mount
from the frame . the 1600and 2000 trans mount adapters are different and
you need both the right mount and d/s.
