The Isky U-20 cams are all based on L-series profiles developed in the early 70's(they use the same master to grind the profile). They were developed for L16 and L24 engines. They will work in U-20 engines but the actual valve timing events will be different than advertized for L-series engines because the rocker arm ratio is less for a U-20 than L-series. Hence, less lift and less total duration. In fact, most aftermarket U-20 reground cams are ground with L-series profiles to them.
