Friends, Loved ones, Family, we are gathered here today to mourn the passing
of one of our brethren. On this date, SPL310-10172, finally succumbed to
the effects of cancer and neglect. She gave a valiant fight, but the odds
were against her, and help arrived for her too late. She lived a long full
life, and produced many happy memories for those that touched her. Many a
Sunday afternoon were spent wiling the time away on back roads, providing
enjoyment to those that accompanied her, as well as those that saw her
smiling face as she passed by. She will be remembered as the proud lady
that she was.
When her advanced state of cancer was noted by the family, she was quietly
put down. She was a generous sole and had decided to become an organ donor,
so her vital organs went on to help others survive the ills that may befall
them. Many of her organs were transported north for transplanting into a
vivacious Fairlady that will again ply the streets of America. Others were
harvested for future use and have been placed in cold storage. Some will
even help her extended family in Florida continue to thrive and prosper.
Her passing was a quiet one, without much fanfare. The major organs had
been harvested some time back, and the final operation occured today. She
was pronounced deceased at 4:00pm Eastern time this afternoon having
survived to enjoy one last Independence day.
Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the "Help Sid
Get A Roadster On The Road Fund" care of this church.
And now, a moment of silence........
