Hi Ray,
I have a small grit blasting cabinet and I blasted the alloy valve
cover, alternator, fuel pump, fuel filter and they all came up with a
matt "as cast" look.
I'm not into polishing anything either but the blasted finish was just
what I was after.
I guess bead blasting would give a similar result but I've never had
that done.

Subject: cleaning 2L valve cover
I would like to clean up/detail my valve cover on my 68 2000. I don't
want
it shiny and polished but a more natural clean look.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
