Shop around, prices vary a lot. Almost all shops will
send the rad out to get it re-cored at a specialty
company. This would be a terrific time to see if
you can get an extra row added to the radiator.
(2 row to 3 row, 3 row to 4 row) for a little
extra cooling.
I paid $210 two years ago to get my Datsun 510 rad
re-cored and changed from 2 row to 3 row.
The end result is a rad just as good as a brand new
one, IMHO. (This is good, because it costs about as
much as a new rad)
