The Q is what do you do with it if it rains? If it's one piece it won't fit
in the trunk. For some ideas check out some Miata sites. They make them in 2
pieces. I think Moss and Racing Beat sell them.

I think a soft tonneau with a bar across where the top frame goes and some
ingenuity maybe better as it can be rolled up. My full tonneau when rolled
back accomplishes almost the same thing.
