My company has done CARB testing for aftermarket
products. To pass the test under load is easy (with
F.I. engines) but then they have this idea "what if we
disconnect the O2 sensor so the car fail the test" so
they did that and told us to come back again to pay
for another test. We then learned that the car will
pass the test if we pay a certain amount in cash on
the side or something will be disconnected again.
