lonestar, that's pretty cool!
A couple of years ago, I took the clock from my 67.5 1600
to a local clock shop to see if they could get it working
again, but no luck. I would love to get it working again,
right now (this was Paul OROCs idea), it is set to 3:11.
Anyone know how to get it running again?

Subject: Accept small blessings
Hi Listers --
In troubleshooting wiring and gauge problems, I ultimately pulled the
dash and removed all the gauges. I had already determined the PO had
replaced the water temperature, ammeter and fuel level gauges,
apparently without properly matching the senders. I've decided to replace
everything except tach and speedo with VDOs. But I hadn't decided what
to do about the clock.
While pulling and labeling wires, I discovered the clock was not correctly
wired according to the diagram. Once everything was out, I took the
clock to the workbench and hooked it up to a 12v power supply. Wonder
of wonders, it works! And 12 hours later, it was showing the correct time!
Not bad for a 36 year old clock.
I'll accept small blessings of this sort everytime.
