All,
    Thanks for all your responses.  I will check those things.  The ballast
resistor is wired correctly and good, and the condenser is brand new, so I'm
pretty sure it's good.  I wanted to get an Electronic Dizzy from Gary Boone,
but was afraid of frying it if I have these electrical problems.  Thanks
again.
