Hello All,

For those of you who have been following my restoration, you may know that
my car will be black with red interior (guess I just cast my vote for the
color poll). I have always loved this combination and I think it will look
great when completed.

For my birthday last year, my girlfriend bought my an ebro 1/34 scale model
of a 67.5 2000. I love it and it sits on my desk at work. However, it is red
with black interior, right hand drive, and has 69 front clearance lights
like all Japanese Domestic 67 cars had. As far as a I know, there are no LHD
67.5 models available.

Anyhow, one of the guys I work with is heavily into miniatures and models.
He excels at custom building 1/24 scale models for people. I am talking
carpet, gauges, roll bars and LHD. I have seen his work and it is exquisite.
I am going to purchase a plastic model so he can use the body as reference
and then he is going to build my model to exactly match the appearance of my
restored car.

Once it is done I will certainly post pics and he says he can do any car
provided he has complete pics of the car. I am going to be his first Datsun
Roadster, but judging from his work I probably won't be the last. After the
model is done I will forward his contact info to anyone interested.

Just can't get enough roadsters,

Andrew Murphy
