I took what I thought was a U20 head, that is that it came off a U20
engine, to have it pressure checked and milled. I was told that it was
not a U20 head, but a Z20 head, made in China. There was a newer version
head called Z23 head that also was made in China, for the U20 block. I
noticed that my "Z20" head had bigger water passage openings, but
attributed that to the work of the shop that had done the porting,
polishing, and CCing of the head. Is this the FIA head? Can anyone give
me any other info or was I being misled?
