Novice question about the crank pulley

Ok, its time to put the crank pulley back on and I am asking for a little
help.  Any tricks to get that pin in the crankshaft as I put on the pulley?

PS.  Almost done.  December 31st is the scheduled day to install the engine
and transmission.
