brake support and studs

Since Stan's support is NLA, can someone send me pictures of what it looks
like, or what a good way to support the brake master would be??

Also, has anyone ever changed out the brake and clutch master studs with
bolts and nuts with the nuts on the inside??  Is there any safety concern if
you do this??  Just curious---they're rather a pain to take off.
