Electrical question so I can learn

I was looking at the electric schematics for my 1966 1600 in my Manuel, or
(see http://www.311s.org/) to double check the wiring to my fuse box I notice
that along side the fuse Amperage rating a letter is listed ( e.g. H  20A  E)
or (L  30A   A).  Does anyone know what those letters designate?
