Comp sway bars

As I understand it, there are two different comp sway bars -the 23mm (or
maybe it was 24mm) one piece deal that we're all familiar with and a
later 3 piece bar that nismo sell now.  Is that correct?  What are the
pros & cons of each as relates to autocrossing
