Clay,
It does not work. Unless. There is always an "unless" somewhere. The early
car's sheet metal differed by having an extension from the cowl the dash
hung off of. The late model didn't have this. A few have, with success, cut
the cowl portion off of an early donor and bolted it into place on a late.
There are other problems to be solved, such a the differences in the
steering column, but the cowl is the first hurtle.
