Mike, I'm Forwarding your post to the Roadster List again. (it's been 3 or 4
months since the last time.)
List,
Mike Gholson is the owner/operator of the 240z list and creator of the
240z.org site, which has become the best early Z site around. The site has
basically spawned an international club around it, much like our roadster
list.
He is selling his 68 2000 in Albany Oregon. It's in pretty good shape.
Please read his post, attached below. I know he's got some photos on a page
somewhere, perhaps he'll chime in and redirect us to the address.
Maybe the NOWROC group could help him out by listing it in their classifieds
page?
Interested parties, please email mike at mike@mgdesign.net

Subject: [240z.org] What to do with my Cars
Hi all,
I'm in a dilemma. I don't know what to do with all of my cars.
Too many Datsuns and not enough time to get all of them going. So,
I need some advice.
At the current moment, I have 3 Datsuns:
1) Yellow '71 240z - Restoration Project - A shell with a great
paintjob.
2) Blue '75 280z - Freebie Runner - An excellent no-rust, low mileage
car with a bad engine.
3) Red '68 2000 Roadster - Fun Runner - A great little car that I NEVER
drive. A bit of rust in the typical areas, but, a solid little car
that runs great.
What should I do with these things? I've been trying to sell the Blue
280z and the Roadster, but, every person that acts interested keeps
backing
out at the last minute (w/out even seeing the cars). The Yellow (Jedi)
is
sitting around waiting patiently for me to come finish the job.
Along with a house that needs a lot of work, a wife that needs
attention,
a full time (or more) job, a side business, and a car club... I can't
seem
to get back into the garage. But, I'm sure you guys can't help me with
these.
So, my question to you is related to the cars.... Should I take the
engine
and parts from the 280z and push it into the scrapard? The Roadster is
a total
crapshoot. Maybe I should do the same with it.
Anyone interested in these cars? Maybe the guys down at ClassicDatsun
need a
few parts cars............
What do you guys think?
[m]
PS: Yea yea... Kyle is finishing before me. ;P
