You have a 70, a dual master cyl car, so it
dosnt matter if you do the back or front first,
as its a sep circuit, but I would do the
front first, just cause it takes more
juice and will give a sense of pressure,
sort of, by the time you get to the back.
As far as side to side, a good rule of thumb
for any system is "near to far" ie, start
with the shortest runs of pipe and work
toward the longest, this helps minimize
any bubbles that get trapped in between.
Its always good practice to go around to
the bleeders a second time to ensure no
bubbles.
Ensure to keep the master filled, or you
will have to start over, after sucking air
in.
Wear safety glasses, brake fluid in the eye
is very, very bad. Also eats paint.
Once all is bled, wipe everything down dry,
and get in and stomp hard on brakes and
hold for a good 30 sec or minute. Any
gradual leak down in pedal, given a good
master, means get out and carefully check
for the leak. Given the many intricate
pipes and tiny flares, this is a possibility.
Be patient and get it done right.
Suck it up and buy new parts as required
...stopping is
more important than going in the big scheme
of things.....
Best Regards and hope this helps,
Jim
