Mike,

Yeah, I used a 4-spd mount and sliced the bottom half off to be level with
the frame when I dropped it to the lower holes.

No problem on the reply, on the next one more planning will go into it.
After first dropping the 5-spd/2000 into my '66 I had a hard time connecting
the cable, and realized I didn't bang out the tunnel enough. And then there
was the sometimes knocking of the tranny against the tunnel, very noisy and
annoying! I didn't want to bother pulling the engine again, so I then cut
the tunnel wall to allow more space and closed it up with a metal plate.
