I suggest that you find out what is going on with that rear brake. It
should indeed have blown the pistons out. Slip the drum on the good side
and have some one depress the brakes. Crack the bleeder to see if pressure
is present. If it is, the time has come to disassemble the cylinder and
find out what is going on.
If you discover the need to rebuild the rear brake cylinders do not hone
them. They are anodized aluminum and honing will destroy the bores. Just a
light polishing with oil and 1000 grit wet/dry to clean the bores. If it
takes any more than that they will have to be sleeved or replaced.
