I had a tonneau cover for my 1600 that was a good 3 or 4 inches short of
reaching the dash when I first tried to use it. Advise from a friend that
cleans houses for a living was to use RESOLVE upholstery cleaner and soak
the material and letting it cook in the sun. While it was hot and still
damp, we stretched the heck out of it and got it to fit. I let it dry in
place. Now, two years later, it is still tight, but fits without a
problem!
And it's even cleaner than it was to start with!
