Hello All,
Irene and I got a 1986 Mazda B2000 longbed truck to cart our junk
to burningman. It appears to be in pretty decent shape but the fuel and
temp gauges do not work. We have to go over a mountain and then drive for
4 hours in the desert in 100+ heat. I would really like these guages to
work. Bought a chiltons manual its worthless trying to track down something
else. With testing these guages I think it could either be the sender, one
of the connections, or the guages. I have shorted the wires to the senders
and the guages did not move they should right? I have checked the fuses.
I am going to rip the dash apart soon to check the connections what else can
I try? Anybody got a good wiring diagram for a 1986 B2000?
