British Racing Green. Very common on British sports cars is nice if you
like green. Look around for Triumph TR-4's or MG-B's and before you see
very many you should see this color on a car similar in size to yours.
I don't know why Datsun did not offer a dark green other than to stay
away from the British association.
A friend of mine just sold an AH-3000 that had never been restored. It
did not need restoration either. Even the original top fit very nicely
and had a clear window. The part that could make BMC owners sick was
his shop. It was FULL of NOS BMC parts, including lots of Smiths
instrumentation, tops and taneau covers, complete exhaust systems, and
engine parts of all kinds. Most of this was in unopened packaging. I
still have the parts manuals to identify all of the different pieces
under my desk. I photographed all of it and we tried to sell it through
a web site and could not get any bites. eBay had not become popular at
that time. I think he sold the whole lot for a little over a grand.
