No, it happened to guys, too. If I remember right (always questionable), Car and
Driver did some controlled tests with observers in the car and got one case
where the driver reported unintended acceleration while backing around a corner.
The observer said the guy had his foot on the gas pedal. Pictures taken from
outside the car showed no brake lights on.
