Hmmm .. I bought my pads from Kragen's. Is their brand ok or will it
squeal ?

Volvo original pads squeal a lot less than aftermarket.
Brand is Textar (Bosch/Teves) compound is TX462.
Some people like PBR Deluxe pads.
