When we (in Europe) got the 510 it was called
Bluebird (with L16) but around 1971-72 they dropped
the Bluebird name and changed to 1800 (L18) The
most powerful versions with 2 SU had SSS added
to the model name. In 1974 we got 160J (610) and
180B (710) but the 2:nd generation 160J was another
510. Now with solid rear axle. All 510-610-710 (before
1976 in Sweden) also came as twin SU, SSS versions.
I have not seen any of these on the road for at least
10 years. A friend have one PL510 SSS stored in a container.
