We are still struggling with the brake light switch on our '64. The darned thing just doesn't want to come off, even with the use of shims to stabilize the mounting bracket. We've tried soaking the switch threads with lubricating oils (like WD40) but no luck. Any other ideas? What about bleeding out the system and using heat... or would that be too damaging? Thanks!
