List,
There were two for sale, one in the Virginia Pilot for $2500.
I called and Mark came over to look over my roadster
in pieces all over the garage (this was last week).
He took video of mine, and showed me a video of his.
It looks nice, red, new black soft top, runs well,
(needs brake work). Its a 67.5. He said the chrome and
interior need help, and some previous bodywork was showing
cracks. Sounds like a fair to good un-restored
low windshield 1600. I told him 2500 might be a bit
high and he said 2000 would be OK. So, if anyone on
the list would like to discuss this further, E-mail him
directly at
f14mech@hotmail.com
He also has a Triumph Spitfire, and a 50s P/U, and
needs to sell one of the three, and he chose the roadster.
(I gave him a complete list of all our venders and told him
he would be better off selling the Spit, parts expense wise
anyway).
The second roadster was in the trading times, and was listed
at $300. I called but it was already sold. I suspect
Craig or Mike bought it??!! Its a high windshield car, and
probably a parts car. But, its gone. The lady on the
phone seemed quite relieved, I think it was her husbands.
Best Regards,
Jim
