Aaron,
I've only autocrossed 5 times, so I'm no expert. But I've had a blast
each time.
Several years ago, I was driving around and happened across an SCCA SOLO II
in a football stadium parking lot. I pulled in to check it out, and to my
disbelief there was a Roadster racing. At the time my 67.5 1600 had been
garaged for about 5 years, so I was pretty excited to talk with the owner.
Well, this got me off my butt, I did some internet cruising, found this
list,
and with alot of help from my friends, got mine back on the road.
Good luck...Robert - 67.5 1600 - Albuquerque

I got my first taste of SCCA solo racing this weekend. I had a couple of
hours to kill so I went to the championship race at Qualcomm stadium (San
Diego) on Saturday morning. What a kick in the pants. I was only
spectating this time but, I can definitely see some driving in my future.
That was grassroots racing at its best. For those of you that have never
been to one, it is definitely worth checking out. For those of you that
drive, You guys are lucky. :) Roadster content; Hopefully mine will see the
cones some day soon.
Aaron
