Robert,

Sounds right to me. The headlight contact in the turn signal assy can get
corroded/dirty quite easily. It could be bent also and is rather hard to
get adjusted.

It's been quite a while since I've been into mine, so I will have to look
to see exactly how to get it apart. If anyone has a write up on this
please post it. I won't be able to get to it until the weekend.
